Daniel J. Boyle DirectorDan created DJ Boyle, LLC upon a foundation of strong international business experience in strategy, management, finance, engineering and law. Early in his career he served in the U.S. Peace Corps in Colombia and was a mini hydroelectric specialist at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association’s (NRECA) International Programs Division. He went on to progressively responsible management and leadership positions in engineering companies, General Electric, General Dynamics, Bank of America, Cipher Systems, and Saudi Aramco. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Administration and a Master’s in Economics from the University of Delaware, a Juris Doctorate in Law from McGeorge School of Law, and an Executive Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Securities and Financial Regulation from the Georgetown University Law Center. He is a member of the California Bar, and was a Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in mechanical engineering in Guam from 1987-2014. He is a member of California Arbitration, the Institute for Transnational Arbitration, and the San Diego County Bar Association.
Dan previously served as a Deputy District Attorney in Sutter County, California. In his commercial career, he has advised start-ups, mature businesses, and private equity firms. He has authored several papers and publications on a variety topics related to law and economics, and energy. He has worked in over 40 countries, has resided in the U.S., Colombia, Saudi Arabia, Guam, Spain, Indonesia, and Taiwan. He is fluent in Spanish. Dan also served as a Part-time Adjunct Professor of Law for International Business Transactions at the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California and at the King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) for a course in international commercial and business law under the management curriculum. Dan currently resides in San Diego, CA. |
